At MYART we appreciate that parents new to the program may feel a bit overwhelmed and not know what to expect or what is expected of them. Performing with a childrens theatre company is not exactly like being on a softball team. The MYART staff is accustomed to working with families new to theatre and has worked to make it as easy as possible for them to learn the ropes.

Another resource is the director. As a rule it is best not to begin by asking the director. The reason is not that directors don't answer questions. It's actually quite the opposite. Directors answer a great many questions. There is frequently a line of people waiting to ask the director questions. In most cases another person could answer the question just as easily. Asking someone else will usually save time for both the director and the person asking the question.
