The Spitfire Grill Performances
Based on the award-winning film by Lee David Zlotoff, "The Spitfire Grill" depicts the journey of a young woman just released from prison who decides to start her life anew in a rural Wisconsin town. She precipitates a journey within the town itself toward its own tenuous reawakening. The folk and bluegrass tinged score is unlike that for any other musical.

What is MYART?
Musical Youth Artist Repertory Theatre (MYART) is a community-based, non-profit, educational organization that provides young people the opportunity to be active participants in the performing arts. MYART supplements education in the performing arts. Though historically underfunded, we believe this to be a vitally important part of any child's curriculum. Each year MYART presents three main-stage productions with casts of 160 to 300 participants. Multiple leads and large ensemble casts allow all participants to shine.
A Message from our Artistic Director
Many of our performers have had no previous theatre training and may have thought themselves too shy to recite in class or lead a group. MYART uses creative dramatics and training in voice, dance and acting to help students discover their own power as individuals.
