Summer 2013 - How to Eat Like a Child

This musical romp through the joys and sorrows of being a child is hilarious. Children give 23 lessons in such subjects as how to beg for a dog, how to torture your sister, how to act after being sent to your room and how to laugh hysterically. The pace is fast, the tone subversive and the recognition instant. Pending Royalty Approval.
Summer 2013 - A Chorus Line

SUMMER SHOW CHANGE: A CHORUS LINE is a celebration of those unsung heroes of the American Musical Theatre-the chorus dancers, those valiant, overdedicated, underpaid, highly trained performers who back up the star or stars and often make them look even more talented than they are. It is also a celebration of the American Musical itself.
What is MYART?
Musical Youth Artists Repertory Theatre (MYART) is a community-based, non-profit, educational organization that provides young people the opportunity to be active participants in the performing arts. MYART supplements education in the performing arts. Though historically underfunded, we believe this to be a vitally important part of any child's curriculum. Each year MYART presents three main-stage productions with casts of 160 to over 300 participants. Multiple leads and large ensemble casts allow all participants to shine.
A Message from our Artistic Director
Many of our performers have had no previous theatre training and may have thought themselves too shy to recite in class or lead a group. MYART uses creative dramatics and training in voice, dance and acting to help students discover their own power as individuals.
